The Croton plant is often grown outdoors in tropical climates but they also make good houseplants.
They can be considered a little fussy indoors but if you find a spot that gets very bright indirect or direct sunlight in your home they should be happy. Once you find a good spot do not move as they can go into shock and lose leaves if moved around too much.
Water frequently in the frowing season so that the soil is consistently moist. In Winter the watering requirements will decrease.
To get the best out of your Croton and to keep its amazing colours looking great its best if the plant receives 6-8 hours of direct sunlight each day.
It also likes warm weather and high humidity.
